Application: IXSU-F for indoor use. Single-core.
Standard: CENELEC HD 629.
Construction: The terminations are prefabricated in a single piece. Inside the tracking-resistant heat-shrink tubing there is a green layer of stress-control compound, which also acts as a moisture seal. The stress control is of the zinc oxide type, which responds to the electric field when energized and is insulating when de-energized. The termination is mounted at the top of the cable loops. For IXSU with reinforcement kit, the enclosed CNTM sleeve is used to reinforce the cable between the lower edge of the termination and the cable breakout, where a conductive and sealing breakout boot is installed.
